Letter of thanks From Mrs Patricia Ebbs Chairperson of Magic Moments 4 AK
It never fails to please me at just how wonderful the members of Magic Moments are.
This week has been a very busy one, preparing for It’s a Knockout, most days we have not left the centre until 4 p.m. Thursday for a lot of us was 9.p.m. and today was amazing
Martin Ely who is a very new member, got his mate to bring his van and from this morning they have taken virtually every bit of equipment to Quibell Park, Steve would not take any money, so our heartfelt thanks go out to you Steve.
I must stress that Martin, Michael, Michael parker Julie and Jason, Jim and thurzla, all went down to Quibell to put up all the gazebos and some have done security all night. Kath Madeleine and Peter along with Matt all went down and cleaned all the toilets, all the changing rooms, and the grandstand. Ali C Tony and Phil went down after ali had worked all day at the café to sort things out.
Hope was wonderful all day as she was fed up by the end of the day
Nan, Lisa, Aly, Barry, Nathan all stayed all day at the café preparing bags, packing stuff in vans, and along with Ross, Jodie and josh, Rachel her mum and Dad put water in about 400 balloons, a few got very wet.
Jim and Thurzla marked out the 10k run, so it has been a very long day for all of us. I really cannot thank you all enough, if I have missed anyone it is because I did not go to Quibell, so if anyone else turned up and I have not mentioned you, it is because, I am not aware you were there.
I hope all members will attend tomorrow, if possible, to cheer on our teams, and our runners in the 10k. Injury has stopped Ali, and ALy taking part tomorrow. Lisa is once again injured but you all know how stubborn she is, nothing will stop her taking part.
Courtney has helped out for 2 days when we have been short staffed
I just want to let you know how grateful I am for all you do for Magic Moments; you are very special people with wonderful extraordinary kids.
Our special thanks go out to Julie who’s dad is very ill but she is coming to help out and to Diane and Eddie coming from Cleethorpes.
So to all of you I am stating that the caravans are available in September at £10 per night as a thank you, if anyone wants them.
Best of all Paige is home safe and sound and her usual beautiful self
Let me know as soon as possible if you want the caravans
The weather is looking good lets hope for a good turn out 3.000 leaflets have been put out, so here’s hoping.
Good night and God bless
Pat
